Jana Bauer

Jana Bauer was born in 1975 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She studied at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film, and Television and completed here studies as a dramaturge in 2003. She writes children books and youth novels, publishes a string of Slovene book series, and translates from English. Her work has been translated into numerous languages and was awarded several prizes, including the Večernica Prize.
