                                                                            Namita Subiotto, born in 1972 in Postojna (Slovenia), studied Croatian, Serbian and Macedonian Language and Literature and Comparative Linguistics of Slavic Languages in Ljubljana. She obtained her Ph.D. in Macedonian Language and Literature and since 2002 has taught this subject at the University of Ljubljana. Namita Subiotto translates from Croatian, Macedonian, Serbian and Bulgarian into Slovenian and from Slovenian into Macedonian. Her most important publications include works by Venko Andonovski, Jasna Koteska, Aleksandar Prokopiev, Vlada Urošević and Mitja Čander as well as an anthology of Macedonian short prose.
