Anna Haifisch

Anna Haifisch was born in Leipzig in 1986 and studied illustration at the University of Graphics and Book Arts. In just a few years, she has become one of the most important figures among the younger generations of independent comics artists worldwide. Her unique style and disturbingly honest stories have captured a wide audience. Her books, which have been translated into several languages, have become contemporary classics in Europe and North America. Anna Haifisch was awarded the Max and Moritz Prize in the “Best German Comic Artist” category by the International Comic Salon Erlangen in 2020.
