Alexander Kluge

Alexander Kluge, born in Halberstadt in 1932, is a lawyer, author, film maker and curator of exhibitions; but: “My main work are my books.” He has received many accolades for his work, including the Georg Büchner Prize and the Theodor W. Adorno Prize, the Heinrich Heine Prize of the city of Düsseldorf and the Klopstock Prize, awarded by the city of Halberstadt in 2019.
